Some major events are offered to enthusiasts of culture.

The Menuhin Festival which lasts for almost 2 months and hosts some of the greatest stars in classical music.

In September, Country Night brings together the stars of American music in this alpine decor.

In winter, the Sommets Musicaux and the New Year Music Festival bring together celebrities and great up and coming artists.

Gourmets also enjoy the Davidoff Saveurs week when some of the greatest Chefs take charge in the kitchens of the resort.

Sports

The summer starts with the Beach Volley tournament, which might seem a bit amusing because out of place in the mountains, followed by the ATP Gstaad Open, called the « Wimbledon of the Alps ».

Later, the Glacier 3000 Run, the Polo tournament, or the Grand Hotel Park Golf Pro-Am are scheduled.

In winter, there are spectacular ski and snowboarding events (Snowgames or High Fly), and curling, or endurance events (25h Free Ride). 

Not to forget the amazing Balloon Festival in Château-d'Oex with its dozens of hot air balloons.
